There’s got to be something wrong with a system that gives a white-collar executive with a $400,000 salary a dental insurance program that discounts treatment by 40 to 55 percent, while a retired grandmother who raised 4 kids gets only a 10% senior-citizen’s discount. Nor does it make sense that someone who wants the quality dentistry provided by Makefield Dental feels they have to go somewhere else, because it would cost them twice as much to stay at MDA.
At Makefield Dental, we always try to put our patients first, reducing barriers to ideal dental health in any way we can. To achieve this goal, Dr. Sibner created Bucks County’s best In-Office Dental Insurance program. As the premier dentist in Hatboro, we want to make dental care affordable such as dental implants for Hatboro patients without insurance and offer our patients with insurance programs we don’t accept a reasonably priced alternative to the limited dental offices supported by their plans.
Bucks County’s Best In-Office Insurance Program
Where most programs offer two free exams and cleanings plus X-rays a year and then discount their other services by 10%, Makefield Dental offers a sliding scale of discounts from 15% to 33%.
Everything We Do Starts with People
We started nearly 30 years ago with the simple goal of treating people as patients, not teeth. Everything we do is geared towards people. We respect their time. We respect their financial concerns. We listen.
Advanced Care for Patients with Diabetes
For diabetic patients, having the right dental care is especially important. We understand your unique dental needs and our goal is to take care of not just your teeth, but of your overall health.
Convenient Morning and Evening Hours
We understand everyone has a different schedule. That is why we offer a range of office hours, including mornings, lunch hours and evenings to fit your needs. Your time is valuable and we respect your time.
To say that Dr. Jeffrey Sibner is passionate about dentistry would be an understatement. He graduated from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with his D.M.D. in 1983 and completed his General Practice Residency there in 1984. Following his residency, he began teaching as a Clinical Associate at Penn Dental, and was appointed Assistant Professor in 1995. In 1996, he reduced his role to guest lecturer as an Adjunct Assistant Professor, a position he continues to maintain.
While he can treat all the common dental issues, people with unique or difficult cases are often pleasantly surprised that local Hatboro Cosmetic dentist Dr. Sibner can recommend solutions specifically geared to their needs and finances. “I want to help as many people as possible gain access to high-quality dental care. Many cases can be treated a number of different ways and I always try to educate patients about all of their options and help them make informed decisions. I treat every patient as I would treat my own family.”
The phrase “Cosmetic Dentistry” is used so often it has become nearly meaningless. Cosmetics comes into play on nearly everything we do, whether it’s a filling that “disappears” after it’s placed or veneers that don’t announce FAKE TEETH! from across the room. Makefield Dental uses 3 different composite materials for fillings and 4 different ceramics for crowns to guarantee esthetics and durability.
When Dr. Sibner taught dentures at Penn’s School of Dental Medicine, he used a 5-visit protocol to insure fit, comfort and aesthetics. Dental insurance plans, with their deep discounts on denture services, provide a powerful incentive for dentists to cut corners on dentures leading to fewer visits, cheaper materials and foreign labs. Rest assured, at Makefield Dental, Dr. Sibner is still using that same classic 5-visit protocol he taught at Penn.
Dr. Sibner started working with implants in 1985 when he took the 3-day Branemark course in implant restoration technique. He has been a leader in implant restorative systems since.
The most important single aspect of successful implant restoration, isn’t the skill of the general dentist, it’s the willingness of the dentist to work with implant surgeons to plan the case from start to finish. Dr. Sibner works with several of the area’s top periodontists to insure cases proceed routinely.
You might think that in an office where the dentist owns two patents on a whitening technique, every patient would be guided to whitening their teeth with that technique. But our philosophy has always been to adapt procedures to our patients’ requirements. That’s why we offer a menu of three different whitening systems and a total of 5 whitening options. Want your teeth whiter? We have an option that will fit your goals and budget.
When Dr. Sibner did a presentation on the single-tooth dental restoration at Temple Dental School a few years ago, he chose veneers on two front teeth as one of his examples. These restorations are particularly difficult because of their prominent position in the mouth and the way the restorations show in various lighting conditions. To make veneers work, you need to know about more than contour and design, you need to know about materials, cements and texture.
You’ll understand how sophisticated Makefield Dental’s periodontal protocols are from your first examination on, something you’d expect in an office run by an Associate Professor that teaches and publishes articles on periodontal disease. Our biggest secret to keeping our patient’s gums healthy is our emphasis on prevention and education. Most offices tell their patients to brush and floss, but never show them how to do it. We match the tools and techniques to our patient’s abilities and preferences.
